This tournament is a WTA 500 level event, with a 28-player singles main draw, a 16-team doubles main draw, and a  24-player singles qualifying draw.

Kids can attend the first five days of the tournament free of charge. For the finals days, children under the age of 2 years will be required to sit on a carer’s lap unless a ticket is purchased.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By entering this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these Terms & Conditions. This Prize Draw is open all people aged 18 or over except for employees of the Promoter (as defined below), or any member of its group of companies, their immediate families or anyone connected professionally to this Prize Draw.

Definitions:

Entrant means any individual who has entered the Prize Draw in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and who adheres to any relevant entry and eligibility requirements.

Prize means the prize described in paragraph 5.

Prize Draw means chance to win a trip to Washington DC and attend the Mubadala Citi DC Open.

Prize Winner means the winner of the Prize as described in paragraph 4.

Promoter means International Management Group Overseas LLC, Abu Dhabi Branch a sports and events company, Suite 102, Barclays Tower A, Al Jazira Sports Stadium, Muroor (4th) Street, PO Box 75792, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions set out in this document.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. This Prize Draw will open on www.mubadalaabudhabiopen.com at 10am GST on 10th September and will close at 23:59 GST on 30th September, 2024 (the “Window”). Only entries received between this time period will be accepted.
  2. Only one entry per purchase during the Window per Entrant will be accepted.
  3. To enter the Prize Draw:
    1. Purchase a ticket to the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2025 any time during the Window
  4. All qualifying entries will be placed into a draw for the Prize using a software tool on 1st October at 6pm GST at the Promoter’s offices in Dubai, with 1 winner chosen at random (the “Prize Winner“). The Prize Winner will be notified by email within 48 hours of the draw occurring.
  5. The winner shall receive a trip to Washington DC to attend the Mubadala Citi DC Open that includes 2 round-trip economy flights from Abu Dhabi, accommodation for 2 persons, 2 x tickets including hospitality. The prize does not include travel visa.
  6. IMG reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of the same or higher value, where it becomes necessary to do so, as decided by IMG in its sole discretion.
  7. In the event that: (i) the Promoter is unable to contact the Prize Winner within ten (10) working days or (ii) the Prize Winner is not able or willing to accept the Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will pick a replacement Prize Winner from the remaining Entrants. The Prize will also be forfeited if, at any time, the Prize Winner/s are found to have been ineligible to enter the Prize Draw.
  8. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative to the Prize is available.
  9. In the event that the Prize Winner is no longer able to accept to Prize, no alternative or replacement Prize will be offered.
  10. The Promoter will co-ordinate with the Prize Winner in order for the Prize Winner to receive their Prize following the supply of his or her (and, if applicable, his or her parent’s/legal guardian’s) contact information, including name, address, email address and telephone number, and any information reasonably requested by the Promoter to ascertain the correct identity of the Prize Winner and the postal address/email address to where the Prize is to be sent.
  11. Participation constitutes an Entrant’s (and an Entrant’s parent’s/legal guardian’s, if such Entrant is a minor) full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
  12. By entering the Prize Draw, each Entrant grant the Promoter a worldwide, sole, royalty-free perpetual and irrevocable licence to use the copyright in their entry in order to asses all entries received and to use on all Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open channels and @MubadalaAbuDhabiOpen social platforms. Please note, for the avoidance of doubt, this licence fully reserves the right of the Entrant to fully exploit the copyright themselves.
  13. The Promoter is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party web sites or home page access or where any reproduction of the information relating to this Prize Draw misstates or omits any of the information or Terms and Conditions connected with the Prize Draw.
  14. IMG reserves the right to withdraw an entry from the Prize Draw at any time if the entry is deemed inappropriate for any reason.
  15. IMG reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant, or subsequently withdraw any award if an Entrant is found to have breached any of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. Entries should not contain any obscene, blasphemous or defamatory matter.
  17. Save in respect of personal injury, death or fraud, IMG shall have no liability whatsoever to any Entrant whether in contract, tort or otherwise, in connection with their entry or any other aspect of this Prize Draw.
  18. Only entries submitted through the official Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open ticketing partner platform and conforming to the ticketing terms and conditions and these Terms & Conditions are eligible to participate. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not properly received due to communications beyond the IMG’s control or for entries that are incorrectly submitted, incomplete or received after the closing date.
  19. This Prize Draw is not sponsored, administered or associated with SM platform(s); any enquiries in relation to it should be addressed to IMG only.
  20. The decision of IMG regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. These Terms and Conditions, and all aspects of the Prize Draw shall be governed by English law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  22. IMG reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions of the Prize Draw.

Three categories are available for sale (Courtside; Category 1; Category 2):

Courtside is closest to the court. Courtside tickets purchased for semi-finals and finals also include:

  • Premier courtside seating
  • Hospitality lounge and terrace access
  • Supreme F&B menu with table service
  • 1 x Premier parking pass

Category 1 is the next section closest (lower bowl) to the court followed by Category 2 (upper bowl).

Neither Category 1 nor Category 2 include hospitality.

All tickets have a uniquely encrypted barcode to validate entry and allow detection of counterfeit tickets.

Once you purchase the ticket, it is a condition of sale that there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. By purchasing a ticket, a customer is automatically accepting all terms and conditions. Attendees are encouraged to read the terms and conditions prior to entering the venue.

It is a condition of sale that the tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Organiser, be resold at a price above the face value of the tickets or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to in any way enhance the demand for any goods or services. If a ticket is sold and/or used in breach of this condition, the Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the bearer of the ticket.

 

Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

The Organiser will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Credit Card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase. The replacement of any tickets automatically cancels and voids the previous bar-coded ticket.

 

The Tennis Village opens one hour before the first match of the day.

This is an all-ages event.

Valid ID checks will take place for those over 21 wishing to purchase alcohol. Original Identification must be produced to purchase alcoholic beverages (Original Passport, UAE Driver’s License, UAE and GCC ID card).

No outside food is permitted in the stadium. However, there will be various vendors within the Tennis Village catering to customer requirements. Please note that no bottle caps are allowed in the venue. (These will be removed upon purchase for safety reasons.)

Aerosol cans, chains, studded bracelets, glow sticks, coolers or ice chests, furniture, fireworks, flares or smoke bombs, illegal drugs, laser pens and pointers, noisemaking devices (whistles, air horns, etc.) food and beverage, poles to display banners, flags, etc., professional cameras, weapons and any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by the Organiser.

Yes, food and beverage will be made available for those who wish to purchase within the Tennis Village and in the Stadium.

Parking is ample at Zayed Sports City with over 7,000 spots available onsite, please follow the signs.

Overnight parking is not permitted and cars left for extended periods of time are subject to towing and stowage at the owner’s expense.

There are a large number of hotels located near the venue and within Abu Dhabi.

Hotels nearby to Zayed Sports City include: Aloft, Centro, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Hyatt, Premier Inn, Ritz-Carlton, Rotana, Shangri-La, Fairmont and Traders. These are located within a five minute car ride to Zayed Sports City.

Flat. Village is mainly concrete with some grass area by the football pitch.

Yes, assistance dogs are permitted by the venue.

There is wheelchair and disabled access at the venue for this show. A disabled platform is available, for a wheelchair and one carer.

Yes, Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will be organised and played in accordance with the UAE Tennis Federation rules and regulations, a list of which can be found on their website https://uaetennis.ae

The programme is open to all players across the following age categories for juniors – U12, U14, U16, U18. The adults categories will be available for Men, Women and Over 35.

Yes, prizes are available for all tournaments within the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series. Prize/Voucher structure will follow a standard format per category and more information can be found on the tournament registration page.

Winners from each category will be awarded a variety of prizes to further their tennis journey, including an all-expenses-paid trip to the prestigious Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy in Spain for U14 and U16 champions, a month of private lessons at a local tennis academy in the UAE for U12 champions, and tennis equipment, vouchers, prize money, and Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tickets for adult category winners.

Yes, points won at Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will count towards a player’s official UAE Tennis Ranking, as well as their Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series Ranking.

Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will be hosted by select academies in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah. Details for each tournament will be released on the tennis calendar and can be found on the official UAE Tennis Portal https://te.s-pin.com/, or on the UAE Federation Ranking Circuit website when the tournament registration is open.

Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open has kicked off its post-summer schedule as part of its second season on 6 September, following the success of its inaugural edition.

Points won at the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open events will count towards a player’s Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Ranking. The top 8 players from each Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open category will progress to a Playoff series with the overall winners being awarded with some incredible prizes.

The Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series comprises two tiers of tournaments: Grade A, which offer higher points and require mandatory participation for top-ranked players, and Grade B, which allow for broader participation and point accumulation.

A Grade A tournament is the highest level tournament available to play on the UAE circuit and is introduced as part of the launch of the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series. Each Grade A tournament will have 2000 points available and Officials/Umpires will be provided for the semi-final and final matches of each tournament.

Each tournament will have a draw size of 32 players with 28 direct acceptance, 2 Wild Cards from the host academy and 2 Wild Cards from the UAE Tennis Federation.

Players registering online will have priority entry over manual registrations, in line with UAE Federation rules.

The standard UAE Tennis Federation match format and rules will be followed.

The Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will consist of a series of Grade A (2000 points for the winner) and Grade B (1,000 points) tournaments.

For Juniors, the total points claimed from Mandatory Grade A and Mandatory Grade B Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open events will be counted.

For adults, the total points claimed from Mandatory Grade A Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open events will be counted.

Entry Fees will be charged in line with the UAE Federation guidelines.

The Order of Play will be released on the Wednesday prior to each tournament.

Player withdrawals are not accepted and the Federation has the right to ban the player from all Grade A or B events for the current year, unless a justifiable reason for withdrawal is presented.

In line with the UAE Tennis Federation Age Group System, players will be eligible to join up to two age category. If a player joins 2 categories and finish the series ranked in the Top 8 of both categories, the player must select only one category to play in the playoffs.
