The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open takes place at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City, Al Rawdah – W57, in Abu Dhabi.

This tournament is a WTA 500 level event, with a 28-player singles main draw, a 16-team doubles main draw, and a  24-player singles qualifying draw.

Three categories are available for sale (Courtside; Category 1; Category 2):

Courtside is closest to the court

Courtside tickets purchased for 9, 10 and 11 Feb also include:

  • Premier court side seating
  • Hospitality lounge and terrace access
  • Supreme F&B menu with table service
  • 1 x Premier parking pass

Category 1 is the next section closest (lower bowl) to the court followed by Category 2 (upper bowl)

Neither Category 1 nor Category 2 include hospitality

All tickets have a uniquely encrypted barcode to validate entry and allow detection of counterfeit tickets.

Once you purchase the ticket, it is a condition of sale that there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. By purchasing a ticket, a customer is automatically accepting all terms and conditions. Attendees are encouraged to read the terms and conditions prior to entering the venue.

It is a condition of sale that the tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Organiser, be resold at a price above the face value of the tickets or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to in any way enhance the demand for any goods or services. If a ticket is sold and/or used in breach of this condition, the Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the bearer of the ticket.

 

Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

The Organiser will determine the nature of the problem, and if your tickets are replaceable, instruct you as to where and when to pick up your replacement tickets. Replacement tickets can only be picked up by the Credit Card holder with the original credit card used in the purchase. The replacement of any tickets automatically cancels and voids the previous bar-coded ticket. Please contact customerservice@ticketmaster.ae for further assistance.

 

The Tennis Village opens one hour before the first match of the day.

This is an all-ages event.

Valid ID checks will take place for those over 21 wishing to purchase alcohol. Original Identification must be produced to purchase alcoholic beverages (Original Passport, UAE Driver’s License, UAE and GCC ID card).

No outside food is permitted in the stadium however there will be various vendors within the Tennis Village catering to customer requirements. Please note that no bottle caps are allowed in the venue (these will be removed upon purchase for safety reasons)

Aerosol cans, chains, studded bracelets, glow sticks, coolers or ice chests, furniture, fireworks, flares or smoke bombs, illegal drugs, laser pens and pointers, noisemaking devices (whistles, air horns, etc.) food and beverage, poles to display banners, flags, etc., professional cameras, weapons and any other items deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by the Organiser.

Yes, food and beverage will be made available for those who wish to purchase within the Tennis Village and in the Stadium.

Parking is ample at Zayed Sports City with over 7,000 spots available onsite, please follow the signs.

Overnight parking is not permitted and cars left for extended periods of time are subject to towing and stowage at the owner’s expense.

There are a large number of hotels located near the venue and within Abu Dhabi.

Hotels nearby to Zayed Sports City include: Aloft, Centro, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Hyatt, Premier Inn, Ritz-Carlton, Rotana, Shangri-La, Fairmont and Traders. These are located within a five minute car ride to Zayed Sports City.

Flat. Village is mainly concrete with some grass area by the football pitch.

Yes, assistance dogs are permitted by the venue.

There is wheelchair and disabled access at the venue for this show. A disabled platform is available, for a wheelchair and one carer.

Yes, Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will be organized and played in accordance with the UAE Tennis Federation rules and regulations, a list of which can be found here https://uaetennis.ae/Official/Rules

The programme is open to all players across the following age categories for juniors – U12, U14, U16, U18. The adults categories will be available for Mens, Women’s and Over 35’s.

Yes, prizes are available for all tournaments within the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series. Prize/Voucher structure will follow a standard format per category and more information can be found on the tournament registration page.

Overall winners of the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will be awarded with various prizes including an all expenses paid coaching course at the renowned Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy in Spain for U14 and U16 categories, as well as private coaching lessons for U12, U18 categories, and opportunity to be a hitting partner at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open WTA 500 event in February.

Other prizes will include hospitality experiences during Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, vouchers for tennis equipment, merchandise and much more.

Yes, points won at Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will count towards a players official UAE Tennis Ranking, as well as their Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series Ranking.

Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will be hosted by select academies in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah. Details for each tournament will be released on the tennis calendar and can be found on the official UAE Tennis Portal https://te.s-pin.com/, or on the UAE Federation Ranking Circuit website the when the tournament registration is open.

The first Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments are scheduled to start on 29th September and all tournaments will be announced and released on the UAE Tennis tournament portal https://te.s-pin.com/ or on the UAE Federation Ranking Circuit website the when the tournament registration is open.

The Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series will conclude in December and will be followed by the Playoff’s in January and the Finals taking place during the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open in February.

Points won at the Road to MADO events will count towards a players Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Ranking. The top 8 players from each Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open category will progress to a Playoff series with the overall winners being awarded with some incredible prizes

In 2023, the junior series will consist of 4 x Grade A tournaments and 3 x Grade B categories per age category. The adult series will consist of 3 x Grade A tournaments. The programme will be expanded in 2024 to include more tournaments per category.

A Grade A tournament is the highest level tournament available to play on the UAE circuit and is introduced as part of the launch of the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open series. Each Grade A tournament will have 2000 points available and Officials/Umpires will be provided for the semi-final and final matches of each tournament.

Each tournament will have a draw size of 32 players with 28 direct acceptance, 2 Wild Cards from the host academy and 2 wild cards from the UAE Tennis Federation.

Players registering online will have priority entry over manual registrations, in line with UAE Federation rules.

The Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open tournaments will consist of a series of Grade A (2000 points for the winner) and Grade B (1,000 points) tournaments.

For Juniors the total points claimed from 4 x Mandatory Grade A and 3 x Mandatory Grade B Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open events will be counted.

For adults the total points claimed from 3 x Mandatory Grade A Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open events will be counted.

Entry Fees will be charged in line with the UAE Federation guidelines.

The Order of Play will be released on the Wednesday prior to each tournament.

Player withdrawals are not accepted and the Federation has the right to ban the player from all Grade A or B events for the current year, unless a justifiable reason for withdrawal is presented.

In line with the UAE Tennis Federation Age Group System, players will be eligible to join up to two age category. If a player joins 2 categories and finish the series ranked in the Top 8 of both categories, the player must select only one category to play in the playoffs.
