The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026, presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, takes place from 31 January to 7 February at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
The WTA500 tournament is part of the WTA Tour and will see the best female players in the world taking part across eight days of action and entertainment as one of the finest women’s tournaments on the WTA Tour comes to the heart of the UAE.
The tournament gets underway on Saturday 31 January with the official Draw Ceremony, taking place live on the Mubadala Tennis Village Stage. Fans will have the chance to see a leading WTA star in attendance as the first-round match-ups are revealed, setting the stage for an exciting week of action.
Fun continues on Sunday 1 February with Kids Day, where children enjoy free entry alongside complimentary professional coaching sessions. Complimentary access for kids under 12 extends from Monday 2 through to Wednesday 4 February, making it easy for families to experience the tournament together.
This year’s Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will host a wheelchair tennis invitational tournament for the first time, featuring singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions, with matches scheduled for Thursday (5 February) Friday (6 February) and Saturday (7 February) afternoon.
Beyond the on-court action, wheelchair tennis athletes will lead coaching clinics for both coaches and people of determination, encouraging wider participation in the sport.
