
ABU DHABI, UAE – 21 January 2025: The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open makes its return to the International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City from 31 January to 7 February 2026, offering a week of tennis and entertainment for the whole family.The opening weekend sets the tone, with Family Day kicking things off on Saturday 31 January with free entry for eveyone. This is followed by Kids Day on Sunday 1 February as the main draw gets underway and the top players compete in the UAE capital.
With less than two weeks to go, the opening weekend of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open promise something for the whole family. Free tickets on opening day, a packed programme of activities beyond the tennis, and a lively festival atmosphere make it the perfect place to spend the day.
The tournament gets underway on Saturday 31 January with the official Draw Ceremony, taking place live on the Village Stage. Fans will have the chance to see a leading WTA star in attendance as the first-round match-ups are revealed, setting the stage for an exciting week of action.
Fun continues on Sunday 1 February with Kids Day, where children enjoy free entry alongside complimentary professional coaching sessions. Complimentary access for kids also extends from Monday 2 through to Wednesday 4 February, making it easy for families to experience the tournament together.

While the WTA 500 event once again brings world-class players and elite competition to Abu Dhabi, the experience goes far beyond the court. From wheelchair tennis and the Road to MADO programme to the buzzing Tennis Village and a full schedule of family-focused entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Organised by MARI in partnership with Mubadala and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open has quickly established itself as one of the WTA Tour’s most compelling early-season events, combining world-class tennis with a strong focus on youth, community engagement and fan experience.
