From family-friendly entertainment and interactive experiences to grassroots programmes and sponsors activations, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, delivers a host of activities for fans of all ages to enjoy.
FAMILY & VILLAGE EXPERIENCES
Mubadala Village: Saturday 31 January – Saturday 7 February
The Mubadala Village is the heart of the off-court action, bringing together games, creativity, food and entertainment in a lively festival setting.
What you’ll find…
- Interactive games including Giant Jenga, 4 in a Row, Plinko and traditional board games
- Grand Slam Arcade and skill-based sports challenges
- Dedicated kids’ lay area
- Ball in Your Court activation and Serve n’ Strike Wall
- Tennis Swing station, skill games and basketball clinics
- Baseline Arts workshops and a Community Art Wall inspired by Emirati artist Mariam Al Obeidli
- Live entertainment, food and beverage trucks
- Mubadala Village passport – collect stamps and win prizes
Family Day: Saturday 31 January | Free entry for all
The Tournament opens with Family Day, offering free access for all fans alongside live entertainment, games and activations across the Village.
Highlights include:
- Free entry for all ages
- Official Draw Ceremony live on the Village Stage at 2PM
- Leading WTA player in attendance
Kids Day & Kids Under 12 Go Free: Sunday 1 February – Wednesday 4 February
Designed to introduce the next generation to tennis in a fun and welcoming way. What’s included:
- Free entry for children under 12
- Free professional tennis coaching sessions
- Opportunity to watch the world’s best players up close
COMMUNITY & PARTICIPATION
Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open: 6–7 February
A Mubadala-supported grassroots programme celebrating young tennis talent from across the UAE. This where young players receive the opportunity to compete on the same courts as the professionals. Key moments include:
- Semi-Finals: Thursday 6 February
- Finals and Trophy Ceremony: Friday 7 February
Wheelchair Tennis: 5–7 February
Celebrating inclusiveness and accessibility, the Wheelchair Tennis Invitational presented by the WTA Foundation brings elite wheelchair tennis to the tournament for the first time.
What to expect…
- Singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions
- Match days: Thursday 5 February, Friday 6 February and Saturday 7 February (afternoons)
- POD coaching clinic led by athletes on Wednesday 4 February
- Clinics open to coaches and people of determination
HEALTH, WELLBEING & FAN EXPERIENCE
Alongside the on-court action and Village entertainment, the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open places a strong focus on fan wellbeing.
